How long have you been in business?

We are family-owned and operated and have been in business for 13 years.

What areas are you licensed in?

We are licensed, bonded, and insured in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

What kind of jobs do you specialize in?

Custom Home Elements Corp. is a full line home-improvement company. We specialize in Additions, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Finished Basements, and Stone Patios.

How long does it take for someone to come out and give an estimate?

We schedule appointments to accomodate your schedule and in many cases can have a consultant meet with you within 24 hours.

How much do you charge for an estimate?

Absolutely nothing! A consultant will go over the details of the project with you and give you a price quote right then and there.

When can you start the job?

Depending on the job, we can usually start within 1 or 2 weeks. This allows us the time necessary to have the architectural drawings approved and the appropriate permits issued.

How long does a job take?

That depends on the size of the job. Once our crews begin, they will continue every day - weather permitting - until the job is completed.

Do I have to get my own building permit?

No. We obtain all the necessary permits.

What about an architect?

We have our own certified architect and engineer.

Where can I get references?

We will give you all the references you want along with contact information so that you may speak with other customers and actually see our finished product. We are very proud of our work and want you to see for yourself. We do very little advertising as most of our work is generated from referrals.

Who is actually going to do the work?

We only use our own crews of master craftsmen and technicians. When they arrive at your home, you can be sure that they are totally qualified and licensed in their respective fields. These relationships allow us to get your project completed on time and on budget. Our close monitoring of the project also ensures top quality for the client.

Do you have financing available?

There are many financing options available when it comes to home improvements. One option is the Custom Home Elements Corp. , which has been set up in partnership with CONSECO Bank.
